What we are aiming for, and how to tell us when we fall short.

Our commitment

Many of the people who use this site are older, have low vision, or use a keyboard, screen reader or magnifier. We build this site to work for them. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

What that means here

• Text is large by default and can be enlarged without breaking the layout
• Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline
• Color is never the only way information is conveyed
• Text and background colors meet contrast requirements
• Images that carry meaning have text alternatives
• The site works with your device set to a dark or light theme
